The pop star fell sick with a nasty cold this week (beg16Apr12), but she refused to let her ill health halt her concert commitments, and took to the stage at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland to perform for troops as planned.
Perry, 27, dressed in a sailor’s uniform for the show and she pulled one gig-goer out of the crowd to join her on stage.

The Kiss Kiss singer, has teamed up with artist Ron English to create a limited edition set of figures and sculptures, called Dum English.
The toys will launch in Los Angeles on 2 May (12), according to Billboard.com.
The venture is an offshoot of the singer’s MechanicalDummy.com blog that also houses his own street art and that of other budding artists.
Announcing the new line, Brown says, “Ron has to be the most creative, out there artist. His work is so precise but at the same time so unorthodox.”
Combs ‘hoping for role in The Hangover sequel’
SEAN ‘DIDDY’ COMBS has sparked rumours he is angling for a cameo role in the next THE HANGOVER sequel after he was spotted meeting with director TODD PHILLIPS.
The rapper has been pursuing an acting career over the last few years, landing a two-episode role in CSI: Miami, a slot on Hawaii Five-0 and a part opposite Russell Brand in 2010 comedy Get Him to the Greek.

NICKI MINAJ feels guilty for upsetting her fans by closing down her Twitter.com account, but admits she’s relishing her time away from the social networking site.
The hip-hop superstar deactivated her account last weekend (15Apr12) after an unheard tune leaked online.
Before closing down her page, she wrote, “Like seriously, its (sic) but so much a person can take. Good f**king bye.”
The star, who boasted 11 million followers, is unsure whether she will return to the site, revealing she regularly received abusive messages from users – but she misses being in contact with her admirers.
