Luxury Haifa House in Israel

Categories: Luxury Homes

Pitsou KedemArchitects completed this luxury home in Haifa, the biggest city inside northern Israel and the 3rd biggest city in the country.

Movement inside the home is accompanied by various views of the exterior environment; open and exposed areas and additional areas framed and concentrated on a certain view which was made especially for that area.

The underlying idea of the house’s design is one of formal and quiet restraint; the house is a place of calm and tranquility in which the minimalistic details, clean language, as well as the meaning, separate residents from the outside world.

The interior design and architecture blend a climatic relationship with air and light, an expression of the house’s functionality and the uniform design lines both external and internal.

The colors and the materials utilized for both the exterior and interior range from gray to white, blended with wooden strips.

The clean, simple shapes and the light play an important part in the inside design.

Light and shade create always-changing performances of movement and shapes, ‘dancing’ on the ceilings, walls, and the floors of the home all through the day.

The blend of the geometric light displays against the vertical and horizontal surfaces, made from several various materials, develops a special atmosphere inside the spaces and the home’s outside that create a bold statement of calmness and uniformity.

In the daytime, natural light that enters the home and its movement develops absorbing light shows. In the evening, as darkness falls, artificial light, and particularly the light that seeps out from the pool, develop inside the structures spaces a whole different environment, one which is nearly magical and mystical.

The courtyard’s design is characterized by the exact same restraint of form with the selection of trees, as well as their placement additionally communicates with the avenue and surrounding atmosphere.

Radio and television host extraordinaire Ryan Seacrest put his LA house back on the marketplace — with a brand new price.

The television producer, as well as ‘American Idol’ host initially listed the house in the year 2010 for around $14,950,000. As it didn’t sell, Ryan took it off the marketplace for one year prior to relisting it recently for $11,985,000. Speaking of America Idol, the ‘American Idol’ tour is coming to Wilkes-Barre. Finalists from ‘American Idol’ will locally perform as a portion of the TV show’s live tour. The America Idol top ten singers will be participating in the tour, scheduled to go to the Mohegan Sun Arena at the Casey Plaza within Wilkes-Barre upon September 6th, 2012.

Ryan hasn’t had a ton of time to be concerned with the downs and ups of the marketplace. In addition to everything else this amiable frontman performs in Hollywood, he has been added recently to NBC’s Olympic coverage team. The gig is going to take him to London for the Summer Games of 2012 as well as add more dollars to his eye-catching yearly income of $40,000,000. Ryan Seacrest — within a 1:1 comparison — brings in more than Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston and Beyonce, according to Forbes magazine.

Ryan Seacrest’s house possesses a bit of deep Hollywood pedigree. It previously was owned by Kevin Costner, from whom Ryan bought the house for $11,500,000 in April of 2006. The Mediterranean luxury home has been featured within ‘Architectural Digest’ as well as was adorned by Jeff Andrews, a famous designer.

Property records exhibit that the five-bedroom, four-bathroom, 8,172 sq. ft. luxury house within the Hollywood Hills is absolutely up to celeb standards with posh amenities like a guest house, a swimming pool,  tennis courts, a detached garage, peaceful gardens and breathtaking views of Los Angeles.

Brooklyn’s Most Expensive Home for $14 Million

Categories: Luxury Homes

Sheepshead Bay received the borough’s leading listing for a single-family luxury house. Plus, at $14,000,000, what a house it is! The hand-carved chandeliers were priced at $300,000. Three chandeliers were located within the dining room. Finished with limestone, granite and marble, this 10,000 sq. ft. house is in the center of a close-knit and affluent Sephardic neighborhood. Peeks inside these houses are rare, according to brokers.

As elegant as any house on Fifth or Park Avenues, this listing at the border of the Sheepshead Bay and Gravesend neighborhoods, contains heated sidewalks to assist in melting the frigid snow and a private elevator.

According to the Ryan Serhant, the home’s listing agent and star on Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing NY; it is as if you are entering a private palace. He adds that there isn’t anything similar to this in the marketplace.

The entry is amazing! A massive dome skylight lights up the multiple-level art-nouveau stairway that has artisan wrought iron paneling. The tile-inlay marble flooring just finishes the room. The kitchen possesses double appliances and picture window above the sink. There include 5 bedrooms — yet the master is breathtaking, with skylights that have motorized shades as well as French doors that lead to the balcony.

Ryan said of the area that it trades mostly inside its own neighborhood which brought the costs to where they are. One of the leading agents within New York, Ryan gained popularity from his Bravo show, and obtained the lead for this listing via Facebook.

If the house sells for the asking cost, it’ll set a record for a single-family house inside Brooklyn. One Brooklyn Height’s luxury home that was once owned by Truman Capote sold in 2011 for $12,500,000. Inside Brooklyn, there is just one listing in the marketplace that is pricier: the penthouse model inside the Clock Tower building that’s listed for $19,000,000.

Sex in the city? More like taking over the city! SJP buys TWO Brooklyn townhouses.

Unlike her character Carrie Bradshaw (who would never be caught alive living in Brooklyn), Sarah Jessica Parker is venturing into the area, purchasing two adjacent townhouses with husband Matthew Broderick. The plan is to covert the two properties into one spacious family nest – which will become a 7,000 plus ft square feet urban mansion!  Can you imagine the rooms and the garden?!? Well, the outdoor space will come in handy for their nine-year-old son James Wilkie and twin daughters Marion and Tabitha, who turns three in the summer.

Inside sources confirm that the golden couple are finalising the contract on the two stunning houses, situated in the highly desirable neighbourhood of South Brooklyn Heights. However this is no ordinary family-orientated neighbourhood. Other celebrities, including Norah Jones and actor Gabriel Byrne live in the peaceful and angelic area.

Now that the sale of the properties is coming to an end, I bet that the Sex in the City star and hubby can’t wait to move out of their current family home in West Village! Besides being big Hollywood actors, the couple are a force to be reckoned with when it comes to property investment. They are in the process of selling another property on E ast 10th Street which they brought two years ago for $1.8995 million. According to celeb gossips sources, the family never move into the house.

Meanwhile the property where Carrie lived in the first three season of the show is now on the market for $9.65 million. The four-storey townhouse, on Perry Street (pictured above), features ten bedrooms and six fireplaces. Good news for die hard Sex in the City fans with a massive bank balance!

Kim Zolciak’s Expanding Family

Kim Zolciak (The Real Housewives of Atlanta) and Kroy Biermann (Atlanta Falcons defensive end) welcomed son Kroy Jagger (KJ) last May, and are now expecting another baby. Kim Zolciak is about to make the big bucks with her very own spin-off reality TV show which will concentrate on her new baby(s) and new life. The new celebrity mansion is quadruple the space of their last townhouse; a whopping $3.2 million 11,000 square feet estate situated on 2 acres of land.

The two-acre Roswell estate has 3 kitchens, elevator and covered porch overlooking a basketball court. There include 2 laundry rooms, hers and his walk-in closets complete with built-in drawers and shelves. There’s a morning kitchen and a sitting area that has a fireplace within the master bedroom. The formal dining room possesses a butler’s pantry. There is a terrace level movie theater with 30 seats.

KJ, now nine months, has a rock ‘n’ roll nursery, however Kroy and Kim are waiting to figure out the new baby’s sex prior to converting their guest bedroom within another nursery. The couple finally got married on November 11th in a lavish Georgia wedding. Kim, 33, is now 4 month’s pregnant and she’s excited that baby KJ will have a new baby sister or brother who will only be 15 months apart.

They will be welcoming their new addition in September of this year. The couple says they don’t care if the new baby is a boy or a girl, they are just wishing for a healthy baby. Kroy is a very attentive father and husband who bathes KJ every night, and goes out to retrieve all the foods that Kim craves, amongst the cravings includes jalapenos that she snacks on all the time.  Kim complains of being exhausted all of the time, yet is very joyful of her new family and doesn’t miss all the drama of the housewives.  Kim’s spin-off Don’t be Tardy for the Wedding is set to air on April 26th at 9:00 p.m. on Bravo.

Michael Jordan’s Estate up for Sale

NBA legend Michael Jordan put his Illinois estate in Highland Park upon the market recently with an asking price of $29 million. Made to Michael’s exact specifications, this secluded celebrity mansion features more than 56,000 sq. ft. of living space on 3 levels; including nine bedrooms, over fifteen bathrooms, and five fireplaces.

Besides the primary estate, the celebrity mansion has an attached three-bedroom guesthouse, outdoor/indoor pool and entertaining area, exterior tennis court, putting green, deep water pond, 3 different climate-controlled multiple-vehicle garages – as well as an incredible inside basketball complex.

So what is Michael Jordan, the man who led the basketball team Chicago Bulls to 6 NBA titles prior to retiring in 2003 up to these days?

Jordan is a big golf nut. Though he always shrugged off implications that he should hone his game and go on the PGA’s Champions Tour, Michael states that golf is the sole game that he’s competitive in now that he is an elder statesman of the game Jordan revolutionized with the Chicago Bulls. As Mike once toyed around with this idea of playing upon the Champions Tour (he had gotten his game down to a 4 handicap during one point), he states his present responsibilities as the Charlotte Bobcat’s Managing Member of Basketball Operations prevents him from playing as much of the game as he’d like.

An injury with a cigar cutter a couple of years ago permanently wounded a tendon within his right finger that hampered his swing and grip. Mike had to compensate because of the finger accident that does not permit him to bend the affected finger and keeps him from pinching down on the club. Jordan stated that a resulting light grip did assist him with his putting stroke, though.

Jordan says he still likes to play basketball with sons, Marcus and Jeffrey, both of whom are talented players; however, Dad does not push the game on his sons.

What comedy blockbuster was this gorgeous home featured in?

This house was featured in the 1990 film, starring a certain mischievous kid who outsmarts two dumbest burglars on earth. Have you guessed it yet?  It’s Home Alone.

The “Home Alone” House

Now this 1920 luxurious perfect family home has a leading role: It’s now on the market for $2.4 million. Located in Winnetka on the Chicago North Shore, the 4,250 square foot home is clean cut on the inside, as it is on the outside.  The three storey property features four master en-suite, a light-coloured (not to mention stunning) spacious dining area, a bang up to date kitchen and a cosy lounging area. Who can forget the attic room, where Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) had to share a bed with his bed-wetting cousin?

The cosy estate also features a wood burning fireplace, a sunroom, an outdoor greenhouse, a detached garage and its only moments away from Lake Michigan.

The owners, John and Cynthia Abendshien, bought the knock out property for $875,000 in 1998. Two years later, they were approached by the director of Home Alone films, Christopher Columbus about featuring the house in the classic comedy, which also starred Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern as the bumbling thieves.

This is not the first time the red-brick property caught the attention of film directors: A scout for director John Hughes (Hughes wrote and produced Home Alone) approached the owners about featuring the home in the 1989 film, Uncle Buck. The offer was declined, as the couple just moved in and have not sold their old house.

Now the Abendshiens are ready to move on and downside, as their daughter (who became Macaulay’s playmate during the filming) is now all grown up. In fact the whole family was acquainted with the child star, giving him the nickname “Mac” and describing him as ‘a nice, but quiet boy.’

Now, we all know that Macaulay DID NOT grow up to be ‘a nice, but quiet’ guy!
