The marriage break up between Tim Healy and Denise Welch was made public on the women’s celebrity gossip show Loose Women. Welch was crowned Queen of Celebrity Big Brother and made a sensation by beating Frankie Cocozza. Richcrib reported about Denise outrageous behavior and questioned had she lost the plot as she got her breasts out on national TV.

On 6 February 2012, Denise acknowledged, live on Loose Women, that she was now separated from second husband Tim Healy. This must have come as a bit of a blow to a UK Sunday newspaper who published an exclusive about an affair that she had been having.

The paper alleges the mother-of-two, 53, has been secretly seeing party organiser Lincoln Townley, 39, since last year.
A friend of Townley told the newspaper that Welch met Townley at the Jet Black club in London last April after filming Loose Women and had even spent the night with her before she went into the Celebrity Big Brother house.

The timings of the alleged affair are unclear but what is clear is that husband Tim must have approved Denise announcement on live TV and that the marriage was well on the rocks . The relationship may have been the reason for the split we can only speculate.
