When a pair of A-List Hollywood stars announced their engagement in 2008, it seemed to herald the start of another beautiful celebrity romance. However, three years later things haven’t worked out for Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds and the couple filed for divorce in 2010.
Now, the pair have placed their Los Angeles home on the market for $3.65 million (£2.3 million).
Couple both named ‘sexiest person alive’ in polls
The Canadian born actor announced his engagement to Johansson in May 2008 having previously been engaged to singer Alanis Morrisette. The couple were married in Tofino in September 2008 before announcing their separation in 2010.
Reynolds, star of The Green Lantern, The Change-Up and The Proposal was voted People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive in 2010. Johansson has also featured highly in such polls, being named Esquire’s Sexiest Woman Alive in 2006.
Now, a little over six months after finalizing their divorce, the couple have placed their Los Angeles home on the Los Feliz real estate market for $3.65 million (£2.3 million).

Forbes reports that ‘named the ‘Wong House’, Scarlett and Ryan’s home is a classic mid-century modern home designed by Buff & Hensman in 1969.’ The house is on a half acre plot and features stunning views of the city below.

The property also features a large living area that opens out onto spacious decks, a salt-water infinity pool and a grassy yard. The property is also completely private, hidden behind large gates and protected by video surveillance.
According to property listings, the couple purchased the home for $2.9 million (£1.8 million) in August 2010. Forbes reports that ‘the eco-friendly pair renovated much of the home, updating the property with green amenities like solar power.’
